I been do medieval recreation , not the fair stuff so much but organised tournament style fighting. You can tell you world history teacher to do some frickin research after all he is a professional. Yeah having a flak jacket , helmet ,ammo , canteens and assorted crap can make it difficult to run like a deer but it could definately save your a$$.
