He's talking about the sun visor. The part of the helmet that looks like a baseball cap. And no, I don't think it looks like it's at an odd angle.

Gaaak!!! My eyes have been burnt by the beauty in exelence of the holy armour! O, I totally agree that we should all get together some time and do a fan film... now I have to go work on my helm, I just bought glass cloth yesterday. YAAAYY!

Just fitted the new visor this morning it's a custom made piece that I tinted with a chrome tint (actually it's a black to chrome fade) still got almost six feet of it left...

Hey, have a question for you, i plan to use Plexi glass, and tnint that for the Visor as ive had much experience with plexi glass, in bending and shaping it and forming its edges. Where did you get your tint though? id like to be able to find a gold tint for mine, but i doubt i could, any suggestions?

I hate to post a "Me too" type posting as one of my first posts, but I just have to say well done on the Recon helmet.
Very nice work.

I like the design and tried to nab the pep files, but they seem to be private or some such thing. Are they not currently being shared?

Heh, I honestly didn't even look at the last post date so that's my fault.
I've been reading so many posts that they're all new to me.

The question about the Recon pep files still applies though. Are they available
to the general public or not?

This doesn't really count as a necro because this is in the Elite Showcase, right? Anyway, I was looking at the recon(naissance) pep files on the wiki and saw the two helmet details. I figured out that one of them goes on the top, but where does the "Face_Add-on" go? TIA

yeah i was wondering about that as well... i just gave up on it though lol. i couldn't find a place it would go, so i basically just ignored it
