How do u make such fine cuts with a blade? When I do it, it always turns out messy because the cardboard warps when i proceed to stab it. Is there a method in cutting deep cardboard?

not sure how he does it, but first score around the area you want to cut. Repeat, and slowly it will go away, no warpage. Quality is never the fast way...

There are the two secrets:

1. VERY sharp blade

2. Metal ruler

That's all

very nice. i am also making a sniper, and i was wondering if u have any advice 4 mine. lol mine is not that good it iz mostly cardboard, paper mache and lots of masking tape

Impressive work all the way around.

Do you have the separate pieces as .obj files anywhere? Or any format other than .pdo? I found the link to the one-piece .obj version of the whole thing and the .pdo versions of the separate parts, but I'm looking for the separate parts in any other format.

Thankyou :)

Yes, I have separate obj and CAD (cause I worked on it in Solidworks) files for each part, other way I couldn't build what you already have seen :)

And here is - finished buttgrip!!! Alelujah!

Could you post a link to the CAD files for the separate pieces? I'd like to tinker with them, but when I try to export the .pdo files as .obj files, it makes my pepakura shut down.

Usually I'm open STEP files produced by SolidWorks in Pro/Engineer and save them as .obj

But more easier way is save model as .STL from Solid, open it in MeshLab and save as obj.

But result may be less good than in Pro/E
