Two words man .... Udder Pwnage. Seriously though, that has an amazing real-life feel to it. You sir deserve Rec0nz.

*Adulese does not mean anything meaningful to this previous sentance, except to express the magnitude of detail and work that was put into the model. Now you cannot harass me with comments, wtf should he getz rec0nz.

PS: Yes I am aware of the spelling ... noobs.

PSS: Don't mean to sound like a prick. Good job man. You are amazing at this.

My first pull of the front part of the Spiker came out perfect. I cant thank Falcon NL enough for his molding suggestion, it worked great. I must admit I was pretty nervous, its alot of silicone=cash just on that one piece. I just poured the first half of the main body, and more silicone will be here mid-week (I ran out again). I think I will try brush on molds with a mother mold for my next project, I think it would save me alot of money. Anyway, here are some pics.

You are very welcome, It was a honor that I could help on this fantastic project. If you handle you molds in the right way they last for many pulls. If you have a idea on the prize just give me a PM, i would love to have one of those in my vitrine.

Getting the original one out was scary. I thought for sure it would tear, but it didnt. It is a really thick mold so it held up. The casts come out alot easier than the original. I should have the main body mold done in a few days and a pull by the weekend hopefully. Thanks again.

If I ever get a kit, I want to sharpen the blades myself.. :D
Oh and I have a ton of leather here as well.

Its getting close. Here are some pics of whats molded and cast so far. These are raw castings with no clean-up done. With the pieces that are done in the pics it weighs just under 3.5 pounds. I am currently working on the trigger and blades. I decided to do cast blades as a standard feature but if someone wanted aluminum I will do that as an add on. It just takes to long and its expensive. I will post pics of the painted cast ones and the aluminum ones side by side so people can see the difference.

Doesn't it weigh like seven pounds according to game canon?

Oh well, who gives, it looks awesome, and that's all that I care about lol

I could cast it in metal for ya. Just kidding. It will be a little heavier with the rest of the pieces, but even at weight now you wouldnt want to carry it around long.

I dunno, it'd be hella cool to carry a metal one around...

Good job on the two part silicone mold! The pull looks like a killer! ;)

Thanks, this is my first attemp at molding and casting on such big piece. I have learned alot and spent alot, but it is fun and very rewarding when that first piece come out great.

Got some updated pics with the new paint job. I might weather it a bit more. Its not fully done yet. I am still messing around with the trigger and I didnt cut the faux leather yet for the handle and guard. The blade arms are not fully mounted yet, just setting in place. Getting lights in this thing is a pain but its possible, as you can see. I am working on two other finished ones also (they will be up for grabs soon). I will post in the classified section when they are ready. I might go without lights on one for someone who doesnt want them (cheaper), as well as non-metal blades..

This is my personal piece. There is no pricing available on this one. When I have some available there will be something posted in the classified section. If someone wants to discuss a piece they would like me to make for them please feel free to pm me.

Wow, those look nearly true to form...

My only beef with it is the (apparent) lack of a trigger, but that should be easy. Very nice job :-D
