It looks a tad bit too large, as others have said. On the other hand, you don't seem to have any mobility issues with it, doing by the pictures, so it may not be too large of a problem.

I'd probably scale down the forearm a bit unless you can move freely with it. I scaled mine to where I can bend my arms 90 degrees and im gona trim just a tad more from the forearm once its almost finished.

well, i have a good range of motion, and i am also going off of something i have learned from making my mando, which is, it will look big, but when you have all the armor on, it will look good, and make you look big. so i think it will be fine. That is just something i have learned from my other costumes, is that you will look big in it once you have it all on XD.

And, i am going to my grandparents as i already told you guyz, so far i have printed out the whole left arm, the cod, and the two thighs.... and my printer has not been giving me crap xD

OK guyz, update time!!!!

So, while at my grandparents, my grandpa helped me out with the cutting, so i could go by really fast.... anywayz, i got the whole right arm done, and the cod. and i got one of the thighs cut out... not sure which one xD anywayz, here are the pics!

=D what you guyz think? the biceps kept slipping down xD

hmmm well instead of flexing BOTH arms you could use one to hold the camera AND bicep in place for a better view ;) lol

haha, i could not help the pose xD it made me feel so buff wearing those big things xD

1 thigh will be coming tommarow probably so stay tuned!

Woo, nice work, both arms now! Still lookin' good, can't wait to see your progress. I'll hold you to the thigh being pepped tomorrow :)

Sweet, its comming along great, I can't wait to see this all come together, and your making progress super fast. Fantastic work! Keep it up

thanks! i sure don't feel like it's going very fast though xD

Just wait till you get to the helmet! Seriously, you are going at quite a clip, just be patient. This stuff can take a long time, especially if you have other obligations, or anything resembling a life. And, I don't know why, but it's always nice to see a MK V suit. I love the Mk VI, but there's just something just classic about the Mk V. Maybe it's the low-poly construction, or the way the visor is set back? I don't know

haha, well, it might be becasue i am home schooled, and i start at 8 and finish at 12, so i have lots and lots of extra time =D and yup, i choose MK V CE because i wanted something easy t o build, but also because i usually always like the "basic" stuff xD

see! i told you i would have it done by today! muwhahaha! this is the right thigh i figured out =D

i think it is just about right scale wise! what do you guyz and galz think?

I think that's the left thigh. The top should curve out to form with your butt, and there should be a little black reference point in front by the knee for the light.

well, it seemed to fit best on the right. because, on the left, it would not let me bend my knee cuz the opening is not there xD

NVm, looked at ref pics, and it is the left xD i will need to trim it down some i guess.... any advice on weather to do it after or before harding?

So you did get it done! :) I would suggest scaling it down and rebuilding it. I know it takes more time, but in the end it'll look proportionally better than trying to trim the one you have now. If you want to trim it though, I'd suggest doing it before you harden it, that way you don't have to waste resin and fiberglass.

i already finshed the other thigh today xD i finished it, then i had to get up and go look at cars. Looked at 3 classic VW bugs, and put a down payment on one (convertiable 71 -:) So, i will now be trying to get everything all pepped out before i get the bug ( about 2ish weeks?) and so, i will most likely have everything pepped by the end of a week and a half, and then finished, by at least the release for Reach :)

Pictures will come tomarrow, sorry for none right now xD

Looking good! I'll probably do the same and go for an early set of armor when i start building mine for the same reason that it will be much easier as it has a more basic design! Good Luck!
