FELLOW MK V BUILDER LOVE!!!! XD Might be a little big. I scaled mine to where the openings at the knees are just wide enough for me to fit in. KEEP IT GOING!!!

so, i jsut spent to freakin hours cutting out the back plate.... that thing is a pain is the butt..... And as for the scale, it think is is close to being right, if i changed it much, it might be to small....

I will proabably be bending it all tomarrow, as i have youth group tonight....

haha, so do i xD i want to have it wearable by the time reach comes out so that i can go to a relase thing, and be popular =p

ok peeople...

So, from what i can see, it looks fine, scale wise, but i just need to trim the shoulder part a little.....

What you guyz think?

Looks very good, the scale seems right to me too! Definitely fits better than mine did, so props for getting it right the first time :)

Looking Good! I hear you on the Backpack part. I made one that was WAY to big and am not looking forward to making another smaller one.

Just a FYI, Card stock will melt if put in front of An AC Vent. The Backpack I built I "hung up" (with push pins) to the Dry wall above my desk. It just happens to be in the Direct line of the AC unit. Needless to say, It got really soft and sulked over. Keep up the good work.

haha, luckily i don't have to redo it =D and ya, i read about your melting, sorry to hear that man! And i don't plan on it, i do all my fiberglassing and stuff in the garage ;)

Update: Printed out the helmet, i ran out of card stock, got some more, in the varity pack of colors!!! i is excited cuz i like colors =p. So, expect a funny lookin helmet soon!

haha my original Mk VI chest I was doing was printed out of one of those variety color cardstock packs, and it looksed like i made it out of a box of fruit loops :p it's coming along good, keep it going!! Looking at updates makes me want to be at home working on my project!! :(

Ok guyz, so today was an utter waster for 6 freaking hours...

I printed out the MOZ helmet, cuz it, bent it, and glued it.... it sucked.... It did not fit together well at all, some things did not even aling... Overall, it is just really a poorly desinged one (Sorry MOZ, but you got to rework it bug) ANd something did not make sence.... i am guessing you will see it in the pictures.....

So, i am going to print out and do Robo's instead..... Anybody know how big it is stardered? or how to scale it?

Why don't you do Rundown's helmet?? And I don't see the big mess up or whatever you mentioned :p but then again my laptop crashed and I'm on the road so I'm on my phone....

I think it looks pretty good and alot less complicated the the HD one I did. I kind of wish I would have done that one first. Oh well. In pepping, some days you have a good day and some days you have a bad day; CJ just had himself a bad day. (From Talladega nights Kinda) It doesn't look all that bad though. I can't really tell the bad spots.

well, the bad spot is the freakin grey thing in where my head is supposed to be!!!! xD
I cut it out, but im still not sure if i like it or not..... i printed out Rundows helmet, (don't know why i said robo earlier xD) and i am halfway done cutting it...... there are so many small parts!!! argh!!!!

It took me a little bit to figure out MOZ's helmet too. Once you build the helmet and the visor, you should cut a slit where the bottom of the visor will sit and then slide the bottom in to the slit. Once you've got the visor in, tape it in place so it doesn't move much, then glue it in. After that the helmet is stable enough to have that inside "support" cut out of it. Or... you could just use Rundown's model.

^^agreed with Roguebloog. The thing on the inside is just to help hold the shape. Don't know why ther is both that AND the visor, but that internal support has some pieces connected to the jaw of the helmet (kinda thought that was weird). I just made his as a sizing helmet but I might just use it cause looking at my pic with my armor and helmet on, my rundown helmet looks like its a little too big of scale compared to the rest of my armor :( good luck with rundowns helmet. It was fun to put together!!

you know what this thread needs?? UPDATES!!!!! ;) lol im on my way home. got a day to mess with my armor, but thats it :( now update us!!!!
