Heh.. oh well.. Just bought Vrogy's knives over in the Classifieds because I was going to do the same thing for a DragonCon display at the table. There's no way I'd put my future Elite skull / Legendary Emblem anywhere near yours though. lol Yours rocks..

Mine? well, I was waiting on the knives to arrive before I started scaling anything. So.. it'll wait, and become a wall decoration at my house, which is just fine by me.

I was also wondering if I'll have to put the knives on posts.. that shield isn't flat. How are you planning to address that?

If time becomes too pressing, I'll have the knives by DragonCon. I don't know how they'd scale with that skull, but you'd be welcome to borrow them for a temporary set-up if you wanted. Just consider it if the time runs out on getting yours done. (ie- leave the knives for last.. these are metal.. I might do a metal shield too... depends on how detailed I wanna go for.. I can't embed two versions of steel.. I'm not set-up for that at work, and it might look cheesy without it.)

havent gotten that far on how im going to put it all together, well i have a idea how im going to do it..but i want to make everything 1st then place everything together
i'll get my knives waterjet, then have the handles casted in resin
the sheild im going to make it out of fiberglass or casting resin...depends how i feel

Looks fantastic! The schield looks smooth, and the little weathering on the marathon logo looks nice. I cant wait to see the rest of the alien skull.

Good job so far man, what references did you have? All I can find are the same pics when you choose to play legendary.

I just saw Indy 4 the other night, and the legendary skull looks exactly like the crystal skull.
