Energy Shield Lights on my Halo 4 Master Chief Armor

Are those LED strips with a bunch of individual little LEDs or is it EL wire? either way; it looks amazing!

They're led strips made up of a bunch of small LEDs. When you apply a low voltage you can see the individual lights
