That one is very close, yes... hmm...

Good god I wish I was good at graphic design XD Well spotted though. I hadn't seen how close that one was to the Pelican's font.

I saw a video on instructables on how to make a neon fan sign and I made stencils of big letters on inkjet sticker paper and stuck them to mat board and then cut the letters out to get my stencils. Just a thought is all. keep up the great work.

That font a very close match, you can just play around with it to try and make it to your preference which is not that hard using a program like Photoshop or something similar. You said you might possibly make your own stencil which is also just as cool but what ever you decide should be great.

Hey - thanks for dropping by! :D

Current updates are as follows:

M7 SMGs (which will feasibly contain Beretta M92 pistols) and M6G Magnums (which will be built around M1911 pistols) about 50% completed - awaiting progress photos.

The Warthog is being moved to a new home, where work will be completed by a second fabrication team. The fine details have yet to be established and we will update once we know more.

Ed, our armour maker, has been working on several other projects of recent. However, he says in the next couple of weeks that the projects should be over and he will be all-Halo, all-the-time - starting with the completion of the Marine armour and soft armour vests!

We've entered into discussions with several people about film locations, which is new territory for me. Be interesting to see how things go.

All in all, nothing particularly newsworthy. As for any other updates, I'm currently waiting on word from Smick6 and DogWizard. ;)

So get this. Nobody saw fit to tell me 'til today - including the writers... but Operation Chastity got a mention, and a link, in the July edition of the British version of the X Box Official Magazine. I'll be scanning the article shortly, but seriously, wow.

Does that count as tacit approval? c_c;;

Transcript:

(image of the Evac concept art piece)

The proper Halo movie still stuck firmly in development hell, it's looking increasingly likely that we'll never get to see the big screen version of Master Chief. However, stepping up to fill the void is indie filmmaker, Peter Cooper.

He has invested a whopping £30,000 of his own money and donations to start production on the curiously named "Operation Chastity", a full length Halo feature.

He's already built a fully working Warthog from the remains of a broken-down Land Rover 110, as well as a ton of UNSC props to go alongside it.

As an unofficial project, only time will tell how all of this is going to fly with Microsoft, but the film is unlikely to start shooting before 2010 anyway. It's pretty bonkers, but you can't fault Cooper for being ambitious.

It's good to see your getting more exposure but I don't know what to think about that last excerpt from the article, basically I mean the last line. All one can do is never give up and just keep moving forward and sooner or later everything will fall in place. Congrats on the article and I hope to see more progress in the future.

It'll be the most recent edition I imagine, so the July one... don't know the number.

Anyone got the US edition to see if it's in there too?
