So get this. Nobody saw fit to tell me 'til today - including the writers... but Operation Chastity got a mention, and a link, in the July edition of the British version of the X Box Official Magazine. I'll be scanning the article shortly, but seriously, wow.
Does that count as tacit approval? c_c;;

The proper Halo movie still stuck firmly in development hell, it's looking increasingly likely that we'll never get to see the big screen version of Master Chief. However, stepping up to fill the void is indie filmmaker, Peter Cooper.
He has invested a whopping £30,000 of his own money and donations to start production on the curiously named "Operation Chastity", a full length Halo feature.
He's already built a fully working Warthog from the remains of a broken-down Land Rover 110, as well as a ton of UNSC props to go alongside it.
As an unofficial project, only time will tell how all of this is going to fly with Microsoft, but the film is unlikely to start shooting before 2010 anyway. It's pretty bonkers, but you can't fault Cooper for being ambitious.
