I personally find rondo much easier, you just it mix up, pour in, and slosh it around. I find that 2-3 layers of rondo will usually do the trick. However, rondo won't make your pieces quite as hard as the fiberglass cloth will.
I've found some "bondo" here in sweden with fiberglass "dust" in it (dont really know how to describe it for you guys) think it will be quite as hard as fiberglass?
Im gonna try to mix that polyester spackle (bondo) with resin (polyester) to get it more watery so it floats out everywhere in the helmet and hope for some good result if everything screws up its just back to the pepfile and remake the helmet (Y)
Rondo is just car body filler mixed with extra resin. Its much heavier than fiberglass and resin but as its thicker it gives a smooth finish on the inside of everything. On the inside I would reccomend a couple of thin layers of resin only, a couple of fiberglass layers and a last thin coat of rondo to smooth it all out.

Im from sweden we dont have bondo body filler or all those other brands you are using I need to find something thats almost the same
I have "rondoed" the inside of the helmet with the polyester spackle mixed with "fiberglass straws" and some resin to make it float out everywhere.
I've put this on in two layers and the helmet is now really hard it works perfect, Im gonna rondo the outside of the helmet just mix in a little less resin so it aint that watery and then viola time to sand and rondo/bondo and add details
dont have any good pics they are all on my moms and dads camera I only have this one I took on my crapy phone
I ran out of rondo so the helmet aint all complete on the outside, Im gonna paint on a thin thin layer just so it goes down in all small cracks and **** and then sand it and work from there
should I remove the visor now or later on after all the sanding is done?
Sorry I though I had explained well enough, my bad.
Bondo = polyester car body filler (Bondo is an American brand name, P38 is a UK brand name)
Resin = polyester resin (used with fiberglass cloth/mat for all kinds of things)
Rondo = a mix of the filler and resin
You should be able to get both at a car repair retailers or a friendly garage.
Only use filler/rondo on the outside where its needed. Apply a little at a time because it takes mins to apply but ages to sand. Try not to cover the details with it.
Leave the visor removal till its ready to paint. Cut it out in one peice (so you can use it as a template when you cut the visor).
Looking good, if you struggle to find supplies, I have a swedish friend I can ask about names and stores.
Lightly sand the outside to remove any flaws, then smooth coat it sparingly. Use the least amount of body filler as possible, just enuff the fill in lines and round out and/or smooth out you're helmet. And like Active84u said use a little at a time.
ty for the help with the brand and names I figured out all of em and bought from a suplier here in sweden called biltema, only thing I need now I think is the spot putty
to bad that Im going out on the sea again for 2 weeks so the build is on hold atm again thanks for all the tips m8s
*doublepost*
been away for a while and worked but heres some progress on the peping stage of the suit:
I've made both left and right biceps and I'm almost done with the chest. I needed to try it out while I still can get my gigantic head trough that tiny whole (not peped all the way around the neck yet so it will be even smaller)
the upper body is soon finished very happy with the sizing
everything is peped besides the feet (havnt bought any shoes so dont really know what size Im gonna go with)
I have resined both outside and inside on all parts (shins in progress) and well this is it for now.
I will slushcast the whole suit with a mix of fiberglass "bondo" and resin and then bondo on outside for details.
