First Halo Foam Build(Project ODS-Variant) Unit-010 PIC HEAVY!!

Hey everyone!!!! so good to be back on here
was really missing viewing everyone builds through here FB can be a little hectic sometimes.
Anyways, i started a new build right before RTX2014 of my concept Orbital Drop Spartan Variant
Now I have got to say this is STILL NOT completed, i was working on this 40 hours straight up to the morning of RTX14, through the 4 hour drive i had an AC adapter with the hot glue gun going and still strapping the uit together, AND THEN also another two hours in the parking garage outside the convention center still getting this together


I had NOT worn this prior to the first day of this event, and it was the FIRST time i debuted the entireconcept of this build
The Helmet(UNIT010) is not the helmet for this armor, it was a substitution that i had the luck of obtaining from Jim McCrea since i was short on time and could not finish an entire armor AND sculpt a complete original helmet, But along on the helmet is a custom COM piece i designed and made myself, there is one other helmet belonging to J.Stovall(UNIT011) out there, it is my personal custom paint scheme that ive already had multiple ppl asking to commission, i suppose it really hit home, this was a super rush i had pics from the foam bases and before and after sealing and whatnot, but im still in the proces of uploading most of everything i have to this new maptop so please bear with me

Holy mother of detail that foam work is great! I'm guessing you used a wood burning tool with a fine bit to get some of those detail lines?

Is this based off of Halo 4 spartans or is completely aside from the games. I noticed some similarities in the forearm pieces to to some of the designs of the forearm pieces in Halo 4 which is why I ask.

Your build looks really amazing btw.

Is the helmet made from foam too?

You sir are a wonderful artist. The amount of detail on this is simply amazing, especially considering that you where making this in a time crunch. That you only consider it 60% done just blows my mind away. To most of us newer members we can only dream of having your skill. Thank you for showing us your work. I look forward to seeing what else you do. It is also making me want to try to do a foam build eventually.

i much appreciate it guys, i apologize for my lack of response time as im limited on where i can use wifi without being o a rushed time
this build is supposed to be a concept armor developed by MISRIAH armory, as they conducted manufacturing for alot of the spartan II program
it essentially a cross over to allow orbital entry for a single juggarnaut unit(this is a fictional unit btw) without the necessity of a drop pod as ODSTs use
this concept unit breaks through atmo on two disposable shield generators that are supposed to be located between the shoulder plates and upper shoulder area at the side of the neck
aso assisted by orbital strike plates that are no on this suit right now,, i didnt have time to add them
these units are a cross between the first series of the MK VI from halo wars and the concept or an orbital pod which is why there are similarities to the design, as i didnt want to completely stray away from the universe, there needed to be distinct factors that show, yes, he seems like a modified spartan unit or the original omega team variety
i didnt want to create an entirely alien unit to the halo universe

and no guys the helmet was a gift casted by a member from stony props, as i didnt ave time to sculpt the helmet for this, which i will still be doing, i needed something to fill it, this helmet fit the bill
