Hey everybody! With restocked foam and all the time I have had over Christmas break I have been able to make some serious progress on the ol, MK VII! I have constructed the second boot/shin, knee pads, and both thighs. I am so far very happy with the sizing and details and I hope to get the torso and forearms sorted soon. I am still having some small issues with templates but I do plan on doing some freehand/eyeballing if I can’t find what I’m looking for, but overall I am very happy!

This is the link to the armory resource discussion page where I found the templates. I typically sand down the spot at the seam to make it level then I use a product called “Kwik seal” to fill in the seam and then I just use water to smooth the seam and it acts as a kind of bondo while still being relatively flexible. Hope this helps!

Hey everybody I know it’s been a heck of a long time since I was able to make an update but I was finally FINALLY able to get around to making my plate carrier! While it’s not entirely complete (such as the thrusters missing and some details) I will soon have it done and will make another post when I have the thrusters complete!

Hey everybody! It has been a heck of a long while since I have last posted an update and that’s cause I have hit a bit of a snag with my templates. I just wanted to ask if anyone knows if there have been templates made from models ripped from the game? I have had a lot of trouble finding accurate templates so I just thought I’d throw my question out to the community. Thanks!

I used the files in the armory, I think they were modelled before the game was released. Maybe Spidermonkey60 or NobleofDeath16 might have game rip unfolds?

I was looking back through this thread and I find it really funny how small the chest piece looks. When you were taking the initial photos against the wall.... there was no sense of scale, so for all we know it could've fit a lego man lol. Everything looks fantastic though, and I envy you for being able to produce a good foam helmet.

Hello I’m absolutely new to creating foam cosplay props. I have a quick question. When you printed out the unfolded version of the helmet was it onto an A4 page or a A3 page.
I just printed it out and was wondering if it needed to be printed in A3
