- Hall of Honor - Post Pics of your finished armor/weapons

A couple of rifles I made during the COVID stay at home. Both are XPS foam insulation board and foam core board. I threw in

someWCA foam scraps here and there.

This is my rendition of Heros workshops desert ODST. I finished it early this year but never went out and took photos of it until recently. I post updates on my instagram at dr.propscosplay if you want to see more of my stuff!

Marseille that looks awesome! Do you have any details about the construction?
I bought the 3d model on Etsy from The Apropalypse and I must say that it is quite faithful to the original, recommended purchase.
Is printed in pla with 5% filling and a thickness of the walls ranging from 3mm to 1. the main body is composed of 3 macro pieces, prints that have lasted several hours, the model consists of a total of 16 pieces and weighs 3.5kg. glued with cyan acrylate glue and carefully grouted with car putty first and tamya modeling putty after, I focused a lot on making all layers disappear
sanded with the help of my girlfriend with different types of sandpaper and as a finish sandpaper suitable for water. colored with Fosco military paints and smudged with Mars black

Some pics of my Armor

These are a few snapshots of my suit before I had completely finished it.
It's missing a couple pieces. If you can guess - you get a cookie.
I'll put up a few more when I get shots w/ my Energy Sword.

I made my suit by fabricating sheet styrene and reinforcing it from the back with fiberglass. Slightly different approach than most.

I figured that I should post these somewhere other that Turbo's build thread:

This build was a ton of fun and I learned a bunch while doing it. It was also a great break from my suit and has motivated me to get back to it!
Those look amazing and I hope to be able to produce a build of the same quality one day. Great work.

The blood splatter in the front, the lights, the weathering and the handle, I love all the little things done to it, awesome!

I've done this about a year or two ago roughly with some friends that helped me. It's the silenced SMG from ODST. This build was done all out of EVA foam and a paper towel tube for the silencer/barrel. Apologies for the orange tape but the last con wanted it on as a safety pre-caution.
