hey guys, thanks for the words of support.
i just re-read my msg n it sounded a bit bitchy. when i said about the pming and emailing me only if it was a last resort i didnt mean you couldnt, its just that you would be waitin ages for me to get back to you n wondering why im being such a pr*k.

quick update
i still havnt gotten the work back off the computers (yea, two of em, the other went a while ago) but i dont realy care for some reason. i dont realy want to be a production designer, im a model maker, and i definatly wouldnt be happy in that line of work.
my grandads funeral was very nice and it was more a celibration of his life then a mourning of his death.
the gf situation... well, i wont say it didnt bother me.
oh and i mentioned the wallet not because it was in the same leauge as loosing my grandad but it was just another un-needed inconvienience. i got it back minus the 230 euro, but i DID get it back i suppose.

in other words, thanks for the support, i feel a good bit better now but i still got lotsa work to do so,

still sortin out life. brb. wont be long

Sorry man. I know Data recovery ain't cheap. Glad you got your wallet back. I know when I lost my wallet, I was just thinking of the hell I would have to go through to get all my ID's and liscences back.

I have a question.

On the smooth, HD H3 helmet, should the large "U" shaped piece of the visor fit around/over your forehead to fit comfortably?

Not to ignore the fact that FS is going through some troubling times, (again, sorry for your losses) but I was wondering how many cm. I should add to my helmet size to be safe. Oh and also, my mother just brought me home some scrap from her kitchen design place. Its 2 large pieces of frosted acrylic about 4 mm. thick. Maybe 2 - 2 1/2 feet long and a foot and a half wide. Any ideas what I might use it for? lol

@Tater Mane:not to sure what you mean but if your talkin about the big flat bit under the pokey outy front part then yes, the front of your head should be able to fit in there... that is if we are talking about the same thing thoe.

i was a digital artist (modeling, photoshop, compositing, animation, CAD, presintation). alot of it was done around architecture and buildings so with the slow down in the housing market there just isnt enough work to do. oh well

well, i treated myself to some hd modeling there yesterday, ill post up pics of the models tonight if i can get to some intertubes. before you ask, no, its not the space diper!

ah, its not too bad. i dont realy mind anyway, i was gettin sick of architectural stuff anyway. i should be on live but my broadband connection is being crap and not letting me sing in. ill be on again eventualy

Hey SF, like I promised here are some photos of the helmet I built from your files. I had to improvise a lot of stuff, but I did resin the whole thing, so its rock solid. I used tons of tissue paper on the inside instead of fiberglass, its seems to work pretty well. Sorry for the bad quality guys, I got to find my digital camera.

I found some awesome LEDs at the Source (in Canada).
With LEDs

They fit perfectly in the side holes, and now I just need to do the wiring after I'm done everything. I'm going to put some fittings after the paint job, which me luck guys. Later days.

Lol ok so I guess I'm pretty slow or just happened to not read the posts that said it or read your profile, but I just realized you lived in Ireland. Did you always live there? Because when I heard you talking on Xbox live you didn't seem to have an Irish accent. Also, what part are you from, if you don't mind me asking? I went on vacation there a few years back. Oh and nice helmet Ryu!

EDIT: Ok now that im pretty much done with the top part of the helmet, im noticing that the parts on top where there are little "ridges" seem to be at different angles. If you don't know what im talking about, its the highlighted areas in the picture. They aren't actually in the picture, but it shows where they are.

Ya I can see them, but at first glance you don't notice but after working on it and staring at it for hours it kinda gets to ya.
