Halo 3 Marine cosplay/ 1st foam build

Hello, I'm fixing up my 1st foam helmet for halo 3 Marnie. I got all the templates form Andrew DFT channel on YouTube.

now I added the top front part with hot glue.

finally testing the helmet to see how it feels on my head. I will be adding helmet foam padding inside to make more comfort. still need a chin strap.

Halo 3 Marnie and Halo 3 Master Chief helmets are the same size 10 inches tall, height. I bought halo 3 master chief is 2 part of plastic, hot glue in the middle. I'm seeing the sizing by both helmets.

Yesterday I made the back parts from Andrew DFT. Looking pretty good. I got a long back and small shoulders. showing different side views of the part. hopefully the straps and buckles hold it down into place.

I upgrade my leg parts right and left. I got help from my sister boyfriend, Nathanial. Looks much better and made a bit smaller around my legs.

I have this Army winter beanie hat that will work for helmet. Inside to make it feel more comfort for me! still thinking about chin straps??

Definitely a yes on the chin strap - Aside from looking cool, its just a useful practical thing to have on a helmet. Are you thinking of using that beanie as a liner to make the inside more comfortable?

Hello ProfugoBarbatus yes i had try on beanie inside to see how comfortable it feels. I will be adding a chin strap too. Thanks for your option.

Andrew DFT halo 3 rifle gun in progress. main 3 layers and I printed the blueprint template at 90% size to fit on Eva foam matts.

I'm testing my suspenders hardness for under suit with stomach part with belt in the waist area. I ordered this black hardness from amazon. I will be attaching back and chest parts onto the hardness.

Halo logo UNSC is on front of the helmet and the side by my ears are medic logo. red and black paint. Main color for full armor suit is green satin Oregano. This color looks great for camo marine! I will help save all the Spartans on the battlefields! I'm on team blue and team blue vs. red series too. working on a chin strap too.

I'm not able to finish the gun prop halo 3 rifle for colossalcon north in November. I just wanted opinions about how to build it with Eva foam. so hopefully I get some more Eva foam floor matts to finish what I started. Thanks everyone for helping out a new beginner build.

medic white trim on my helmet is done. straps are on back plate, front chest plate, shoulder, and helmet chin straps. I can put my arms though the shoulder straps is where my hand is. I'm using a under hardness straps to hold everything in place.

I was working on my calf with upper part which are knee plates. I'm still adding strap buckles to hold in place on me cause sometimes my calf feel like falling down a little bit on me. Leg parts are done too.
