Okay I resolved a few things and was able to get back to the build. Thought it’d be longer but luckily it wasn’t. Here are some more progression photos. Still need my battle belt painted up a bit. Everything needs weathered but I got some weathering on the chest armor where the bullet holes are. But y’all can see where I stand. Enjoy!

Got the logo and my name done. I’ll weather everything to hopefully cover up the mistakes and the thicker lines. I referenced a picture and tried to freehand draw the logo with a paint marker. I promise it’ll be better when everything is done lol

Yeahhh if I can find a finer point pen, I would be able to get it tightened up a lot. The marker end was slightly smaller than a permanent marker so the edges in general were just rough to make. I did go back over it to fill it in better than that first picture but still off symmetrically, line work, and consistent edges. I swear I’m more symmetrical, better than what I did and I have some skills in drawing lol also didn’t help that I had to shake the marker every often, and it would give me a different amount of paint at the end every time. Oh well. May wipe and just get a sticker lol

Alright, just gotta figure out attachments for the battle belt and fitting everything. But here’s the battle damage, weathering, and blood from Jiralhanae. My son helped do the splatters and did the knife. He had an awesome time and that was the best part of this build.

Battle belt is done (for now). Just gotta do a test fit to make sure it stays secured and in place. Have a few more things to add if it doesn’t. Hoping to do a full suit up maybe tomorrow or sometime this week. Got the clips that go on the front of the undersuit. I used a **** ton of magnets. The whole upper body works like an actual plate carrier with magnets instead of Velcro. Sides come apart, cummerbunds separate and attach around the undersuit and keep the suit shut. Hope y’all have enjoyed the details so far!

Kiddo went all out with splatter and I joined him lol Figured Jiralhanae are tough sons of guns, so I just got up close and personal. Dumped ammo into one and had to use my combat knife so I’m caked in Brute Blood
