Best. Birthday. Cake. Ever.

Yep. Nuff said.

By the way, everybody watch Sean Bradley's new fanfilm in the video subforum, it's so awesome!

Actually, sort of. It's the magazine of an M6C/M6C SOCOM/M6G of my own design. It's basically the base pistol with interchangable parts to make it either an M6C (Halo 2), an M6C SOCOM (Halo 3: ODST) or an M6G (Halo 3). I'm in the final stages of pepping now and it's coming out pretty nice. Tough to pep, though. Here's a sneak peek...

Glad the pics helped some, waiting to see more.

omg that could also be the halo wars pistol!!

For all those interested, I've officially released the pep file for my pistol. There is a thread in the Weapons and Props section (here). No further need to hijack Nightshade's thread.

Lol, I don't mind. It's everyone's thread, not just mine :D

Little update on the shoulder. Decals/logos done:

If it's a little hard to read (due to its shininess), the CQB shoulder has a large "NS" on it

I know the badge looks a little out of place on a very beat-up piece, but ... what the heck, I've never been a perfectionist

Hey cool update!

Well what do you know, I rondo/glassed my whole helmet today! It's really strong now (I could kick it around ... but I won't).

I threw on a quick coat of primer to see the surface more clearly. Obviously this is gonna take a lot of cleanup and smoothing, so I plan to spend a lot of time on that, area by area. Anyway I thought I'd show some pics of what it looks like at the moment (sorry some spots look sorta rough and the resin dripped in a few places. Nothing a little sanding won't fix. The drips on the visor don't matter cause I'm just gonna dremel that out sometime soon)

PICS!

Hope you like it so far!

More updates!

Started smoothing the top of the helmet out with Bondo, and I plan to keep doing this pretty much all day. Hopefully I'll have the top half of the helmet smoothed today, maybe the rest tomorrow! Enjoy!

(Even though you can see some bondo rings, some of the paper and even the rondo beneath it, just trust me that it's really smooth to the touch. I'll just have to fill in a few tiny holes when everything mostly smoothed out)

Shade I do have one question, if you look at my helmet, you may notice that one side of the top looks elevated, what do I do?

ODST question: Whats the difference between WETA and H3 ODST? I dont understand where WETA is from.

WETA is the company that made the armor for the Halo Landfall trailers. The WETA ODST files are based on their armor. The Halo 3: ODST files are based on the new ODST armor from the game.

By the way, I think I'm going to go through the thread and post all the files so far in one post.

Nice, thanx for the answer. Thats awesome, then itll be super easy to find all the odst files.

Indeed. I'm working on it right now, and so far I've recovered 30 files.

I'm done collecting files. I'll upload them when a new page begins.
