OMG OMG OMG i wanna make all of them every one of those helmets that would pwn!!11!!!!!1!!!!!
and btw i hope the one by the mark VI helm isnt in the game it looks kinda weird imo

Noob to this forum, but old-timer to Pepakura & armor... I'm the one who did the full-size Pep Ironman armor floating around, & have a bunch of smaller models on the Pep site...
I'm currently in the middle of building up a set of Briars-armor vacformed H2 armor, and have been sculpting the bucks to vacform my own assult rifle & pistol. Ever since the pics for H3 came out, I've started planning on selling my H2 suit & doing the new suit from scratch, so my interest in these files is definately major... ;)

If you need a hand cleaning the 3D models for Pep, or the actual Pep work itself, give me a yell... I have plenty or time to toss into a project right now... ;)

Already been done... ;) I'll get it reuploaded & post the links... I have the PDo & PDF's made for all the parts, life-sized... I'm working on an updated 24" tall version now...

Check the first post for some nice updates. Not everything is done yet, but it's more than enough to get you started on. Expect more by the time halo 3 is released. If not sooner. :D

OK PROBLEM. I have most of the pepakura work finished and ready to upload, except for a few parts...HOWEVER... The model is TINY. All the parts fit on a single sheet of paper! How would I scale it up properly? All existing scaling information is scaling from a 7foot spartan...not a 5-INCH spartan...

Alright. So far, I have, read for download:
left foot
right foot
left forearm
right forearm
left thigh
right thigh
lower torso

The rest will come soon enough. I'll get the helmets and the lower leg/ upper arm/torso/helmet finalized in a bit. The shoulders are giving me some trouble..They aren't included on the actual upper arm peice! So I don't know how to incorporate them into the template. Should I just put them up seperately?

Your link is broken or something.Well anyways for your scaleing probelm, you might want to use the halo 2 pepkura files on this site and use their scaling for the armor. You should put up the shoulders up separately in my opinion ,But I could be wrong.

Yeah, you can put them up seperate. Even if they aren't scaled, we can figure it out. Just let some of the pepakura geniuses do their thing and plug the data into their fancy formulas.

It's not that they aren't scaled. I got the scale down. It's that the shoulders don't actually ATTACH to the bicep anymore because of the permutations. They're seperate objects that do not mesh well with other solid objects. I suppose some X-ACTO knife work will come in handy. If necessary, I can completely remodel the bicep/shoulder to include both in a single, solid mesh.

Ahhh... I understand...

I think you could present them seperate though. Like you said, an x-acto knife could fix it. Then people could attach them to their preference and even be able to mix and match.

Quick question... Do you think you'll be able to do the same thing for us on the 25th with the retail game's models?

I plan on pepakuraing everything possible from halo 3 retail. Expect greatness, Comrades. Equipment. Weapons. Vehicles...maybe. Might be too high poly. I'm gonna do ALL the armor perms for elites AND humans. :D

Have I ever told you...

That I love you?

Heh, it's late... I'm high on Game Fuel. I can't wait to pepakura some of the brutes and stuff. Their armor comes off so it should be seperate models. That'll make it really easy to make a brute costume.

Ohh... The possibilities!

When do you plan on releasing the other stuff like helmets and beta weapons like the good ol' Spartan Laser?
