I agree. I made it removable in case I get free time to build a vacuform or find some way to make a better one.A helmet this nice deserves a better visor.
BIG NEWS!!!!
So i can gladly say that the armor is finally done! You will find the file in the first post

thank you! looking forward to see what people do with my files.you are the man. thanks you so much. ive been dying to do a spartan for so long. cheers
Thanks! yeah thats a quite important part to finishing itthis is amazing! Now all I need is to get a printer to make it
Do you have a non sliced version of the torso because i dont know how to rescale all of the parts separately and having them fitting each other

Man the detail.WOW! Makes me wish I had a 3rd printer.
Yeah sure and i guess i just have to use meshmixer to repair it ?Sorry, but i have not. This is bcause this model used my old technic on making hard edges and stuff, so because of that the files hadde holes and defects. So i put it through a repair program that fix that. i can send you the version that it not repaired if you wish. In that one all the parts are togther.
hehe 3d printing is the future

Wow thanks a lot it make scaling so easyi wont recommend meshmixer, because the repair feature in meshmixer doesn't work so well. I would recommend if you have windows 10 to use the inbuildt 3d slicer program because it have a very good automatic repair programming, but if you don't have win 10 you can use this: https://tools3d.azurewebsites.net/ or download Netfabb basic.
Here are the complete torso:

I also made a stl file with the whole armor, but be warned! this is a huge file at 503 MB and it is heavy on the pc unless you got a beast pc:

I will also place these in the first post.
Yea beyond a singel missing poly * MM* is bad for that kinda stuff... netfab is awsome .
a BIG warining . that azure server .
I used to love it too. but now WONT export STLs. its a stupid MS file .
last thing we need is vendor lock in .
after all it was just a automated netfabb.
Is it more expensive to vacum form tint chrome and put the hex mesh on a visor or its less expensive to buy a mirored gold motorcycle visor does anyone know a good and low priced one ?
