Hey Everyone,

This will be my third go at the Halo 4/5 Chief suit. I was originally going to do it with foam again but I said screw it, I'm going to push myself as much as I can. I started this back in December. I am going to a convention up in Timmins to be a celebrity guest cosplayer! First for me and a huge opportunity. I will also be judging their cosplay contest which I find so dang cool. They have the actor that played chief in the Forward Unto Dawn movie so they wanted a couple of cosplayers around him when he is giving signatures, so I will also be accompanied by my friend MikeyVengeance! The date of this convention is April 9th-10th so am I screaming inside and con crunching like a mad man? Yes, I certainly am.

Enjoy!

The knee piece on the left is just the green alone, no weathering, no black wash. Knee piece on the right has 4 hits of black wash of weathering. The Green paint I'm using is an outdoor latex based paint called Toy Tank Green.

This is the material I will be using for the undersuit. This is from YaYa Hans collection of fabric. It's stretchy but not too stretchy and has the perfect pattern I'm looking for!

I am looking for a very similar fabric, where on the website did you find this fabric it looks perfect?

I looked up Yaya hans fabric off of cosplay fabrics international. You can also get it a JoAnn's fabric. It's called scubba hex

Apologies for not posting more. Time crunch had me busy. I finished the suit in time for the convention last weekend. Mind you the knee pieces were too big so I couldn't wear them properly and there was a ton more soft parts that could of been done. Am I proud of what I got done in a 3 month time window? Yes. Could I have done better? Yes absolutely, If I had more time.
