I'm really hyped for this, I can't wait to see this finished!

But since I also want to do a MA5D build in the future, I have a question: How long is your rifle? The official measurements say it's 99.9 cm (around 39 inches) long. But that doesn't seem realistically to me, imagining a Marine of 1,80m wielding a rifle of more than half of his own size, plus Bullpup weapons are alway shorter than "conventional" ones.
I'm really interested to see which size you chose and how you came to it, maybe just guessed it?

Yeah, the official scale seemed a bit out there, even for a 7' tall spartan. I basically just took a piece of scrap PVC pipe that I had, cut it to the official length of almost 40", and held it as if it was a rifle. Then I just cut it down til it felt right against my armor, I ended up at just about 35", scaled 11% smaller than the official stats. I think it looks/ feels right. I'm at work at the moment, but I'll take a pic of me holding it later tonight.
