it look like your using 5mm closed cell foam for some details. but how are you seeming those edges? Great work byw....

yea im using the 1/2 & 1/4 inch foam. It's all being held together by hot glue.
I would just like to clarify, how thick is the base foam you are using? mm or cm measurements would be preferred

the base foam is 11mm some of the detail is the 5mm

Hey, It's been a while since I've posted up on this (at least it may seem that way).
First I wanted to say thanks to the guys behind the scenes for getting the 405th back up & running. I'm glad to be posting again. It's amazing how valuable the site is to everyone and we may take it for granted sometimes, but we do appreciate what you guys do to keep it up and running.
OK.
This may never make it into the ELITE section but it will be making it into Comic Con San Diego 2013....
Here's some up dated pics. from Megacon in Orlando FL a few months back. There's been a few more improvements since then but for now these are the pics I have.

Love it dude, it's nice to see a halo 4 build around here, the chest seems a little big, but thats probably the angle. It's much better than anything I can make

Laying my eyes upon this masterpiece, made my eyes water. Dripping tears of not sadness, but the overflow of awesome that they couldn't contain. My inability to work with foam has been put to shame. Shame Shame indeed...

Wow how did I miss these pictures. Congratulations on your finished suit, I wish I was around at the time of its construction. It's a beautiful suit, you should be proud!
