So im currently working on a halo 4/5 master chief helmet and I have a really good visor, the only problem its clear, and not tinted. I was wondering how I would be able to add the mat orange tint that chief has in the newer games. I was thinking about doing a chrome gold but I think the mate orange looks better. I cant seem to find anything online so far so I was looking to see what suggestions you guys have. Thanks!

Here's a vid that I am planning on following in the future. I hope this helps!

Matte orange ay? i dunno, but i bought a visor from Armory Props a while ago, and they have a semi-matte colour, it isnt reflective, but it works. i believe they do a really fine mist of paint (enamel possible) and is really clear to look through...sadly, the odst visor (jose ones FYI) didn't fit my custom one...but it was fun to play with xD https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/228050679/odst-visor-replacement?ref=shop_home_active_5 (it's semi matte, not completely, it just doesn't reflect cleary, more or less, milky)

you could also go to an auto parts or auto glass repair location. They sometimes sell the tint film that they use to tint car windows. you spray the visor w/ Windex and apply the tint film and wipe the whole thing smooth to get the air bubbles out and voila!!!! tinted visor. It does come in colors.

That orange-ish gold visor they have is almost exactly what i'm looking for. Ill look into it, thanks!

Harbor Freight has a clear visor for $15. its a decent thickness and rigidity and if cut right, depending on the helmets opening, you might get 2 out of it.
