Those wheels and tires are SICK! They bring everything into scale perfectly. I take it you cut the rims shown above and welded the existing golf cart rim's inner part to these?

No sir. I measured and cut new 1/4" plates for each wheel and out set the wheels so the wouldn't rub. If you can see the front view of the cart where the wheels are turned you can see the plate welded I just cut the old centers so I could reach the nuts. Then I made an outer ring with bolt holes welded to the front of each wheel for the exterior plate to Mount on. Thank you also for the complements!

This is truly a one of a kind piece. I especially like the last pic. The stance that it now has is perfect! I'd love to see this thing in person! :D

Oh my, this is just beyond amazing! I have no experience with any of this so I don't have any critique but holy crap, I'd love to tear around in that thing. I can't wait to see it finished.

First let me say, this is fantastic! I totally love this thread and seeing your updates. That being said would you be willing to start uploading these via photobucket or imgur? I can only ever see these small thumbnail photos on your post and I would like to see the details of everything. It's all up to you though buddy, I just want to further appreciate your work :)

This is beyond awesome! I've always wanted to make a Mongoose in this sort of way, so your efforts are both intriguing and inspiring.
Keep up the great work, I'll be eagerly awaiting the next update. :)

That's insane! I suck at welding aluminum, but I did kick the idea of a stainless helmet. BAMF!

you might want to see what the armor rating is on that because that would make a cool video to see what the it can hold up to.

I made a steel one to. But the shell alone weighed in at 9.75lbs the aluminum shell weighed in at 3.5lbs. But if you can afford stainless and want an awesome piece, go for it!!! I want to see it.

Dude! Sweet helmet!! How heavy would you say it is? Can u wear it or will it cause lots and lots of pain?

You can wear it. Its very comfortable. I installed a fan to keep inside bearable. The resting spot for your head is the guts out of my motorcycle helmet. It feels between 5-8lbs total.
