Man..You just don't stop! Awesome!
The Hy-B Chest you're working on: You said you just put the paper over you old blue chest, hot glued down and put only one on layer of resin. well i had an idea. since the paper design itself is smooth, why couldn't you just fiberglass the outside? ((yes a no-no)) keep the fb smooth would be important but that should be no prob. After a simple thin layer of bondo would easily cover up the fb texture.
Just a thought/idea.
but if you're going to mold it then strength won't mater so much now.
I really like your videos... helps me get motivated to work on my projects, seeing how much progress you've made. Will you be using rebound 25 (for the mold) again? I know you've brushed it on your rogue helmet, but can it also be poured (like to try it on handplates)? Looking forward to your next vid!
JediStumpy: I put a total of 3 layers of resin and it is rock hard. I do like you idea but i had already finished before I read this. People reading thisd now have another option brought to you by JediStumpy. Great Idea.
M07Maurauder: Glad I could motivate you.
TheSpartanMjolnir: I have been working alot but my wife has been helping me greatly. Adam has been helping me with the Busa Helmet Mold as well. I wanna thank them both. I am also on "Leave" right now so I am doing all I can before I go back to work. I would love to go to D*con 09 and if I can I'm not sure which suit I would wear. By then I should have a MC, Rogue and Busa suit done.
pooper: Glad to see you like the vids. I have fun doing them. It is much more fun than just posting images and writing how to do it (nothing wrong with that though). I just like to add character. I would be Using Rebound 25, I have some experience poruing it and it turns out great. I will do a vid on some of the molds I have done so far and show you.
Dr PoopAndScoop: Thank you. Do I look better with my video hat or without? Yeah how about this Texas weather? It is storming here again.
Well all I am wating for the next video to post and I will put it up so stay tuned. After these messages we will be right back.
It was a waterbase clay that cracked from being on a styrofoam head and then i put it back together but it was a massive struggle getting it out og the cast when I molded it.
I really like where this is going, its a good project and this could be Elite. The only thing that worries me is the smoothness. When you look at your Last two video's you can cleary see the dents and the putts. I know that you are working on many project on the same time (and kudos for it) but its would be a shame if you don't smooth it out.
One question remains...are you planning on molding it
