You click "ok" and continue.

it tells me it replaces the font with a default font but then when i click ok designer closes and it redirects me to viewer. i believe it is a rar. file

hello again. just wondering if there is anyone who can answer my previous question? it would be of great help. also, is there any way to get the length, width, or depth not to change once i put in a measurement for either one of them?

Sure :)

No, you can't change dimensions individually (that would result in stretched models), but yes, getting one measurement of the respective body part on yourself is sufficient - if it's the most limiting dimension. For example, if you use your head's width to scale your helmet, having a reeeally long nose will break the magic. Getting the depth works just like getting width and height, you just have to hold your ruler in the third possible direction.

Does anyone feel that it is important to get a measurement of the width? Or the length is good enough when it comes to sizing helmets? Also, is it possible to get the depth measurement? I would imagine that it would be the same for other pieces of body armor like the biceps and thighs.

thanks ventrue, and scar405! to be honest with you i do kisd of have a big nose. maybe not a realllly long nose. i've pepped a tester odst helmet, using 65pound card stock. (helmet not the sturdiest, but decent) i have 150pound now just haven't pepped another helmet yet. the hel that i have now fits like a glove, lol. i know there is gonna be trial and error. just trying to save time with the next one. if i go with depth i guess i'll be measuring from the tip of my nose to the back of my head, right?

um excuse me did normal printing paper can be used in place of cardstock?(if it does not what is the lowest g/m² needed for the carstock to work on cos my printer did not support it)
and did some part of the armor ex:Chest, codepiece and Helmet visor(of course the one in prepakura stage). some part of need/did not need to be cut and glued cos i`ve been thinking that later I will need to wear it with some part not attached
ps:sorry for some mistake in my language

No. You cannot use normal paper. Anything lighter than cardstock will not be strong enough to hold resin and fiberglass.

No. Everyparts need to be cut and glued. They are needed to help support the final model. You can only cut them off after you resin and fiberglass them.

Yes, horizontally from the point furthest front and back. But keep in mind that those would be the inner dimensions of the model, the outer dimensions are going to be larger (this applies to all dimensions, of course).

220 g/m² are ok, 250 g/m² are best.

got one more question. how do i change the font size using the edge id numbers? going to print out the pages of mc's helmet. got a slight problem with that. the numbers on the smallest pieces for the helmet overlap each other. its making it hard to tell which number is supposed to go for the edge or flap.

In Designer, click on "Settings", then "Other Settings". On the "Settings" popup, click the "Others" tab. The fourth option down is "Font size of Edge ID". Looks like the smallest is 6.
Also, if you're printer won't accept cardstock, I'd say print your peps on normal paper and then glue that to some card stock. Might not be easy to work with, but it's the only way I can think of if you can't print directly onto the cardstock. You might even be able to get some type of thermal transfer paper to print onto (reverse the image first if possible), then transfer to cardstock...

ok well if you havent found out yet the armor is mark VI if you need it i can send you the pepakura files and all you need is the free file viewer
