Here is my 3D printed MA37 from Halo Reach. If I wanted to add lighting, like a back-lit ammo counter, how would I do that?

my ma37 has a hollow part through out the rifle the 9v can go right in the handel you have a sold or hollow riffle?

I drilled out the ammo counter area, installed a batttery, led, and switch, and then printed an ammo counter and stuck it ontop

Hey, glad to see your post! Your paint job os amazing! Your best bet for an ammo counter is keeping it simple like the posts above. You may also be able to drill out a spot for a dissasembled flashlight if that makes it easier, but it is going to be alot harder to install lighting on a finished prop. If you want the ammo counter to function, it will be a but more complicated. You could alternatively get a store to print out a vinyl sticker and try to get some florescent colors to appear as if it was lit up

That assault rifle looks amazing and the paint job looks awesome. Unfortunately though I won’t be much help with the ammo counter.

ohhhh i got tagged! personaly, ive 3D printed one, but i moddified heavely the model to accomodate the LEDs for the screen, the battery and the flashlight, so for an already built prop, i think lobb as the right idea!
