i joined up a few months ago, but it was recommended to me by a friend when i started considering to build my own suit of armor.

I found this site when looking for Mechwarrior Pep file's, there was a link to halo stuff in one of the topics and here I am.

i was looking up master chiefs armor and ended up in an indymogul video that showed how to make the armor for low budget, followed the link, and ended up here.

i was on facebook one day before halloween and saw a link to a video tutorial from indymogul (i think) on building halo costumes that gave info to this site, needless to say i always thought it would be pretty sweet to have master chief costume so now im hooked.

The way that I found this site was through a friend of mine. He recently has been looking at Storm trooper armor, and already has it more or less figured out. He knows that I absolutely love Halo (I'm more or less obsessed with it.), and after hearing that the 501st played capture the flag with the 405th at Nebrascon, he pointed me to this site. and so, here I am.

WOah..forgot about this XD

I found this place from a friend online that as well as while looking for cheap armor to buy online....XD

I was pointed here by a friend and fellow 501st trooper who was really into Halo, and he was in early phases of a Recon helmet back then.

That Fellow was Belkor :) and you all now how popular his Recon became :)

been lurking as a guest ever since.

Got tired of seeing $750 Halo costumes on ebay googled Halo costumes, found this site ready to start my first project, and make friends with people who share my interests.

I was doing a search on google of how people apply science, technology, engineering and math to projects that have a predominate artistic edge. Found armor making on instructibles.com (wasn't halo), but continued my google search for armor making..and now I'm here. Great site and terrific community.

I found 405th.com on Google using the search word Halo Paintball Helmets and before everyone jumps on my case that you cannot use Pepakura Helmets for Paintball, I have already figured that out. :D

Googling ODST helmet, came across Rube's thread. It was a downer to read all 28 pages and see the outcome, but I've read though almost every high profile thread now.
