Not a huge update but I managed to get the handplates attached to the gloves last night.

Awesome build man!

Quick question though. Did you attache the gloves to the forearm piece, or are they separate?

No, the glove is separate from the forearm

Also here is my update I promised, not as big as I had hoped, but alas, aren't enough hours in the day

Nice job so far, spray that purple chest piece with some clear flat, it will help to not show the resin bumps as bad, looks like your almost finished

SO AWESOME! I think I've been watching this just to see how her HAZOP shoulder turns out - this is the first build I've seen use it, and you've done a damn fine job on it too!

Don't worry man, that's coming. Got some sitting and waiting to be used. Those crazy angles are hard to get even with a dremel.

Well you wanted to see what I did with that shoulder? Well your in luck

My wife's left shoulder

I stared at the in game model and noticed it had kindof a strap or clasp on the black part in the center there, me being innovative as I am decided to try something. I cut two slits in both the attachment and the bicep and fed a nylon strap through and used an adjustment clasp to tighten them together. Now it not only looks mostly accurate its functional too by holding the piece on the bicep.

Nothing fancy here, still needs paint but I did manage to get my commando attachment attached as well

look at how its bolted in and what I'm doing with how I'm gonna rig it up to wear.

Also got my 'Emile' shoulder attachment attached to my right bicep

You will also notice I went for game accuracy with the raised detail on the right and left wings of the attachment, the whole thing still needs paint though

I should have at least my whole upper half able to wear by tomorrow night!

Looks great. I'm assuming the rig attaches to the chest plate via the bicep? Give us all the juicy details with that large piece of armament.

Oh I will when I get to properly test it and get it all to work, is this not what you would have done Thorn?. And Thorn, I'm sure you saw my posts on Facebook so this won't be news ti you, nut I've had a not so minor set back. My shoulder attachment choices aren't going to work for me, tried to put them on this morning and I can get them on, they just won't let me move my arms once they are on. They are too big or I guess they might just physically were never really gonna work outside of the game world, Idk.
And since I broke one trying to get it off I need to restart anyway, so.......
these are my new choices.

The one on the left is the one Thorn used for his, I always really liked his.
this is a minor setback but I should have them both made up by Sunday and ill be back ob track hopefully.

Well amidst disappointment I find minor success.
managed to get my biceps rigged up to wear.

I can't wait to get the new shoulders done up its gonna look great!

Also I have a sneak peek of my wife's armor, I hope to get her to test fit it all tonight. So expect more photos of this later.

Should have my new shoulders done up by Sunday, and a pretty good start on glassing the rest of the armor that's just in the pep stage right now. Its gonna be a busy busy weekend for me!
