Well, Idk I got a medium since its for my wife's head. Hers is considerably smaller than mine so I guesstimated. I used to play football and I wore an extra large helmet so that's what I got for me and I just guessed she would be good for two sizes smaller than mine and I happened to hit gold. I have no more advise to give you than that man, I hope it helps.

I used to play football too and i had a large helmet so i guess i need large size ! :p

its really awful that the stores in austria ( linz) dont sell the padding itself-.-'

Just to show you guys I'm still active. I've had a few things in real life come up and I haven't had much time tk work but I did manage to get both chest pieces glassed and rondo'd as well as both pairs of forearms. Still working on finishing my helmet though

Looking really good! U still have alot of pepping and sanding left tho :p
A pro tip is to take ur time with the test fitting also use a dremel or something to take down sharp and wierd edges. Really important to get those edges away before u go to a Con or something, they could really mess up the whole experience......and make shute u have some nice pillows or something between your shoulder and armor. The shoulder really gets a hard beating from all the fiberglass. Keep it up!

Yeah tell me about it, the upper half of that space marine in the background weighs 46 pounds by itself(chest, helmet and shoulders) you can barely feel your shoulders after wearing it for about half an hour

Dude That is sick! Nice work on the helmets! which isn't meaning to imply that everything else is bad, but the helmets ARE Painted! XD Do the rest! now! My eyes DEMAND visual sacrifice! XD

Awesome! They look so happy together :). I really like the cool tones of her helmet/visor next to the warm tones of yours. They really compliment each other!

Thanks guys! I hope to get back to work on them soon. My sander crapped out so I need to get another one and I have something going on this coming weekend so I will be busy most of the week.......but I have next week off for staycation so I will be home all week long and working hard on these guys.

Not a lot of major progress lately but I did finish the bulk of the pep work on both upper halves of the Spartans

ZOMG! My HAZOP shoulder!
Sometimes I forget how good a feeling it is when you see someone build something you modelled yourself.

Anyway, those helmets are looking awesome, and I can't wait to see this finished!

Wow! This is looking great! I like you and your wife's choice of color, purple and red compliment each other really well. I look forward to see your upcoming progress, and did you ever figure out how you were gonna mount your shoulder pads?
