I've been reading this forum since last October, and then in late January decided to try and make my own suit. Currently working on a run of the mill MKVI suit, nothing fancy but I love the traditional style of it. I decided today to go ahead and sign up and start posting because I've ran across a few minor challenges (which I'll post in my own thread) but for the most part, I love this hobby. It's something to help occupy my time until I start college, idle hands are the devil's playthings and all that ^_^ I've got my laptop set up on my pep-space, playing movies, TV shows and music while I pep out my armor, while the speed of my pepping decreases while I've got stuff playing, it makes it even more of an enjoyable experience for me, watching new things and nostalgia-ing over old shows/animes.

What's up people!? My name is Gabriel DeMasters, age 20. I like Halo, Call of Duty, Mass Effect, and Dead Space (just to name a few games). I live in Western Oregon and have recently taken up an interest in making kickass armor and props.
I have little experience, my only two crafting project thus far being cardboard and duct tape versions of Halo's MA5B Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle
(I can upload pictures if anyone wants to see..... if I can figure out how). I have had a ton of free time on may hands recently and would really like to get started on my first set of armor soon. Hope to make a few friends here on the 405th, good crafting!
