so im a self confessed HALO noob. i dont know alot about the story nor will i admit to trying to know everything. its like starwars, some people read the expanded universe and some dont. everyones little knowledge quips are awesome.
i am a professional costume guy (semi-retired) due to a back injury. ive worked with just about everything. never done a pep/fiberglass build but i have used fiberglass. so we shall see.
i am probly doing the mk VI or mk VII idk yet im prying through the build pages to see the awesomeness that you guys have posted.
i have trooped alot. 12 years in teh 501st. im wanting to do a build for myself and id like to get back to my roots of dressing in charachter and doing hospital visits and such again.

so call me fuzzy. i will try to post progress pics but i do get lazy. also i dont care who you are or what your building if you ask for my advice i will try to help you. i think we all learn from each other. i have extensive vacc table ABS work. polyfoam, foam latexm resins... yea. so i may not have the answer but ill try to help anyway i can.

were all here for the love of the game, and everyones gear is unique to themselves. i hate bashing.

Other: I was raised on Star Trek, so I’m no stranger to science fiction, and have been playing video games from a very, very early age. Once I got into middle school and high school I played mostly online mmorpgs since I lacked funding for consoles and video games. When I started college, I got into costuming, which is where I found my talent/love for leather tooling and crafting.

I’ve been drawn to the 405th because as much as I love my leather armor and medieval type things, I wanna make Halo armor. From what I can tell, this information on this forum will be of immense help. I’m really looking forward to getting started and discovering what the work, successes and failures, (cuz I’m sure there will be both) will yield.
