Hey guys, I've been lurking around the 405th for several months as any new potential recruit would ofcourse ; ). Although I am fairly new to the Halo world I am no strangert o prop/ costuming builds as I have been a regular over on TDH, RPF and most recently FISD as I'm putting together a TFA FO kit as we speak. I have done a fair amount of commission work including but not limited to ESB Boba Fett(helmets),ROTJ BF(helmet/armor), PP1 BF(helmet), PP2 BF(helmet), a Super Trooper(helmet),Darth Maul inspired "Sith Stalker" helmet paint up which the greatguys over at NME props graciously asked me to do. I have also attached some images of my work including my IM MK VI as well as my 5 year olds young Boba Fett both of which I pepped! In the midst of the work I have mentioned, in 2010 I began my Jango Fett build, which like all things has been a wonderful journey as well as an insightful learning experience. I hope to run into any brothers Imay know from the previously mentioned boards, as well as become inundated w/new, valuable and exciting information any of the members here have to offer.As of present, and like many others here, I have begun the initial phase of what is to become my Halo MK VI build. Below is what has transpired thus far:
1. Test build for scaling purposes which ofcourse will end up being my sons ; ). This also isgreat practice for me as I have only used bondo a hand full of times.
2. Test build was resin coated and will glass the inside in the next week or so.
3. Help from the gracious Flyinphil, Fllschrimjager,Chernobyl, mo73, PerniciousDuke and ofcourse Robotchicken as I had some issues with what seemed to be a corresponding number error.....only to my discovery was a user error ; ). I will now print all pep pieces to have on hand LOL!

I guess I want to start by saying that I'm here because the last group I was a part of seems to have disappeared into the ether. Sadness. Unfortunately it was a Transformers group and that's my main squeeze, but I figured now would be a good time to join the 405th because I've been stalking the place for years anyway.

I've built a few rigs and props, no pictures because I'm lazy but I've done a TFP Cliffjumper, G1 Soundwave, almost finished a TFP Arcee, and now I'm in the middle of a FOC Grimlock. Hoping to see him done before the end of the month in time for BotCon.

I started diving into the Mark VI that Spitfire had links to in the introduction section. Starting with Foam. I started a progress thread with some pictures of my terrible work from yesterday.
