Well, the MC helmet mold should be finished this weekend. The neck plate is next. Then we work on the visor and inner padding. The ODST, which will now be our main focus, will be fast tracked to get it knocked out. Work is killing us so we needed something easier to work on.

Great work like always , i'm really interested in your planning for the visor and armor. The only concern i have is the ''block'' right before the visor. In the Weta version the visor is pressed against the block, and in the foam mock-up there is gap between them.
So let me ask a few questions after reading this whole post:
is Ruby's armor going to make a marketable set of H3 armor?
And what about THESE helmets, are they going public too?
My final question, what is this made out of foam? or resin?

...no worries...just like our CNC plug of the MC helmet...sometimes things just do not make the transition very well...we typically will take these areas off and remake them to have sharper and more correct details...
...I did notice the same thing...we have a bit of work to do on it but rest assured we will do all we can to make it nice helmet
The mesh that it was generated from was more like a high resolution version of the game mesh, but with "wetaish"proportions, there are a few details on the landfall version not present in the mesh I generated, there is a little square panel on the ear caps, a small tick like indent on the ear caps where the bolts go, and on the land fall version there is a block behind the back of the jaw vent. If bishop and slavefive decide to make this landfall style I have 100% confidence they'll add those details to perfection.
