finished the shoes, the black and yellow is actually hand painted on

front of shins, one does have a white stripe on but the flash has made it fade..

What did you use for heal and the part over your foot infront of the shin?
Were both biceps the same?
Couldnt figure out what you used for shoulders?
and I got the robo for arm you made. did you use a standard reach forarm for the other side?

the collar broke....
i seriously don't know what to do... i think it got squashed when my gun fell over, i came into the garage and the collar was just smashed.. so i trimmed it off and now its HORRIBLE

the back is ruze's boot (official reach thread).
the front is mine (you can find on the first page of this thread)
i didn't do both biceps, just one, ive scratched built a robot bicep for my other arm.
shoulders? you mean biceps? they are shoulders.. :S slightly confused about this one!

ahahahah i sure did! you can tell because some of the black stripes are thicker than the others! im a bit of a painter so im pretty good!


anyway.. foam method help.. its killing me to look at the chest now..

No one yell at me if this is a noob response but can you just print out the specific sheets from pep and rebuild the collar and reattach it? I figure it was all originally together in one piece but you can remake the collar with enough power housing time. Once you finish the collar you can use fiberglass cloth and resin to get it to reconnect and be whole again.

hmm yeah i was thinking that.. but honestly with the amount of time left and the strapping and riveting left, it would be easier for me to figure out a way to use the foam to make a collar and hot glue it in.. i just dont want to go through the whole, harden, prime, mask, spray process!

Yeah... that process is a pretty deadly one -_-

In my younger days, not that I'm old lol I made cardboard armor.

Cardboard is thick and if done right you can just spray paint it and use some hot glue to attach it. I have made Roman armor out of cardboard and duct tape and it actually worked well. In a pinch with some black spray paint or maybe a layer of cloth it can look pretty legitimate.

Of course its not super sturdy but one day when you have the time you can replace it.

Well I was thinking sholder and bicep as two different parts. The bicep on the front of the arm and the sholder on the actual sholder.

well, the foam is flexible, and looks easy to cut, i woud use your origonal idea and hot glue gun a new foam collar, hey it might even look better, for the "top" of the collar, where the pep bent over, just layer the foam up one on top of another, to make it thicker.

well its like the mats you lay on the floor to give a soft surface, people use them for exercising and stuff, i bought mine about 2 months ago from a hardware store. but that's australia i wouldn't know where to get it from anywhere else..

ahah yeah ive been following EvilFx blog about how he made Mass Effect armour out of the foam and though it would be great to incorporate into hardened armour.
ive been thinking and studying others work and i reckon i can sort something out with the foam!
