Im Back! After some well earned rest

i didnt really realise how quick i made this suit.. 9 WEEKS! :O
so here are some more pics.
had my reach fix and sorted stuff out. i will be working on the suit more in the coming months, but dont expect daily updates like before

thanks! i would love to mold the helmet, but i think it could be done better before it could be molded.. more smoothing needs to be done really..

Robot arm= awesome, and yes I am staring at it awkward. Nice replacement collar the foam looks good. Are you gonna go back and add all the UNSC and Kat-320 details or take a break because you deserve it.

Thank you! im going to re-do the foam collar though, that was a rush job, im going to use the same technique timecon and privateer have used. but mines mixed with pepakura rather than a whole suit from foam

I been watching this for a while and DAMN that turned out nice. The Helmet deatail is amazing. And all that in a month!
I've been working on some stuff for over a year and i still havent finished anything.
Once again, wow.
Could i ask a quick question though? What is the australian equivalant for bondo? Because i cant seem to find one yet.

Automotive body filler : D you can find it in any auto shop, i usually buy k&h but after their big factory fire its really hard to find in WA, but any other brand works really well!

Hey, they are actually masked and sprayed (the triangles) but the boots were hand painted on!

im going to be finishing my mk vi suit now for january, adding some armour permutations (nothing set in stone yet) we have a convention called WAI-CON, but its mainly anime, i just want to show off my suits!
adding lights, wires, pistons and a decent undersuit for the Kat armour. hoping to do this in the christmas holidays. but im taking a month to go to England. (thats where im originally from) Plymouth woop!
Then making a halo 3 assualt rifle, GRAV HAMMER! yes im going to be getting back onto that project also.
so all in all... i still have plans to make more props and armour!

anyways the launch for reach was so much fun, i enjoyed playing the game till midnight and meeting some members of the 405th.i really wish someone who took the time like Ace had shown up and stunned the crowd.
