And here is the belt, I used flex seal to get a cool leather texture.
And working on a battle skirt/kama to go with my belt and going to paint the belt brown and maybe weather it with some burnt seanna or something, ooooh and a jetpack is in the works.
I have been bad about posting my progress but got all the pieces covered in some liquid latex for some dope weathering, and painted the pieces with two color blues, both are navy something, here just look at it.
The helmet got paint with the lighter navy color, and masked it off for the visor "brim" which will be a chipped up white which is the weird cyan stuff will help with (liquid latex)
And here are some pieces I already peeled the latex from and some I haven't.
These are the peeled bits with my decal on it.
This is the darker navy which will be for the knees, shins, and gauntlets.
And this is what the pieces look like before I peeled off the liquid latex.
Looks weird and clumpy but that is how it works.
Anyway back to painting(also doing renovations to my house, so gotta balance it out)
Alright here is some more of the helmet paint job, it's not quite done yet, i have some ideas in mind.
Next up is for colors will be black, red, and more white, where it is going, well guess you'll have to tune back.
Alright, so I added some tasteful details to my helmet, hand-painted this time with oil paints (prefer acrylic, but was out of red, black, and white) and I have to say, it looks completely badass.
I'll put the visor back in after I use some window tint, I mean its fine and dark and barely see my face, but I want people to see their own face, figure that would be cool! Anyways now I'm going to be working on my gauntlets with filler primer and some spot putty, and loads of sanding.
Also did I mentioned I got a new "flak vest" and painted my belt and holsters, also got primer filler put down on my gauntlets and westars.
And don't have pics of gauntlets and westars primer filler'd up, but they are getting their, nobody wants to see boring old primer.
Remembered why I hated sanding anyway is just the fill primer, sanded with 220 grit and primer again, it did a better job than I thought, but here are the blasters and gauntlets so far.
Next step is spot putty, might do what my sister does with her 3D prints, she uses acetone and and spot putty and mixes it together and use it on an old airbrush, but she said she has to use alot of paint thinner to clean it up after using it, but gives an impressive amount of even coverage.
Alright, Westar-35s are done with spot putty and primer and base coat, decided to go with two seperate colors.
I'll probably customize it like my othwr custom pew pews, won't post those because those are not props.
Oh, I also made a "leather"(foam) shin thing and will be attaching my shins to it.
Alrhough I used super glue cause my contact cement was hard and and only had one glue stick but got like 10 things of ca glue
Alright updated my helmet a bit, I like it and its staying like that, anyway here it is.
Also I got the base coat of gloss dark grey on my gauntlets and hand plates, naturally I didnt post any of the before pics, but once they are dry I will use my graphite powder to beskar'd those puppies up. Anyway, later peep.
Oh! I got my mum to make me a kama wrap, a.k.a. the ARC Troopers/Commanders battle skirt thing, I think it looks freaking awesome, I'll post some pics later!
Alright got the gloss gray down on the gauntlets and handplates and I actually took pics.
Also I got done graphiting it too.
And just got done puting a high gloss clean enamel on it, so waiting for that to dry then I'll vaseline on all my edges since I'm out of liquid latex at the moment then painting of the base colors can begin.
