Thanks guys I've been a little quiet because I've been working on halo 3 figures. Nothing to show on that just yet but I thought I would do an in depth tutorial of the work so that those interested could see I how I worked this stuff up.
dallis I've never used bondo so I can't say one way or the other if that's the stuff to use.
By the way the MR weapons work really well with the 1:6 scale figures except that they can't be magnet attached to the armor.

This last shot has my BR on the top followed by the MR weapons.

I think you could make some money selling those. They're awesome. I mean depending on your price I would consider buying one and I'm sure alot of people on here would love to support you so you could continue the amazing work! Keep it up!

I can't sell them because of copy right issues and besides I'm making halo 3 upgrades that will really make this stuff look better and function better.
Casting stuff in bulk is another problem. My casting skills aren't so hot so I usually have to find someone else to do the work and that can be tricky.

Had you not told us what scale these were we would never have known that they were 1/6 scale because of the detail and paint schemes. Your figures should actually be used as reference pictures for the paint since they're better looking than the in-game models. You appear to have mastered painted metallic surfaces. All the washes you've applied really give the surfaces the depth they need to give the appearance of a much larger scale. Ironically it's what's missing from the 1:1 costumes. What toy company do you work for?

You've got amazing skills. These are probably the most accurate master chiefs ive ever seen, Including master chiefs of all scale. Have you ever made anything or thought of making anything in larger scales?

darthcalibar I did make this frank costume for halloween which is full scale. Had to have some help with the sewing though.
