As of now, I'm planning on going for the original Master Chief look and painting it Italian Olive - I was torn between a few options, but ultimately settled on that one, as it's the closest match to the in-game look. However, that's still a long ways away; I have no illusions about how long bondo'ing the suit is going to take....

bondoing will definitely take some time... it depends if you add all the detail from in game or not, but the whole suit can be finished quicker if you don't take any breaks. It has taking me a while to get only half of my suit done, but then again I just may just be slow with the bondoing process.



the helmet looks great! it looks perfectly aligned too!

i bondoed my helmet in 2 or 3 days... working on it once a day for a couple hours (including drying time)



i found the key is to put TOO MUCH on and sand it down wo where you want it.. its more work that way, but it looks damn nice when its done...

unfortunately i didnt take any pic of the bondoing process for my MK6 helmet but i can assure you its easier than it seems.. it did make my shoulder hurt though..

Fantastic work yo! I was going to go the FB route but after seeing this any hearing your results I think I will go with this instead!



PS- I like how you have the beer bottles in your picture, I think there are some in some of my pictures as well cant go wrong throwing a few back while working on this stuff! haha
