Worked a bit on the chest. I used ink jet decal paper for the UNSC logo.

This is, without doubt, the singular best true "fan" made interpretation of any helmet from the Halo franchise. Thank you, for spraying my simple 3d model with steaming hot arcs of justice. I want a copy if you do a run :)

Whether or it's the best fan made helmet is arguable. There are asymmetries that don't show up well in photos but thank you and EWWW gross. Trade ya for the EOD!

Twisting Neather
Rustoleum Specialty Metallic Silver and Matte Black.

Thanks for the kind words folks.

That helm is sooooooo killer. If you ever need a kidney, maybe a lung, I'm up for some negotiating. ;)

Not the first day, it was a few months.

More chest armor. I made these from carved building insulation foam and covered them in Bondo. Bondo eats polystyrene foam but if you apply a very thin layer it cures before it does any damage and bonds really well. After the first coat is hard you can apply more over the top as you see fit without fear.

I lack the intelligence to approiately comment your work due to being struck in awe of the eye candy infront of me.

I am still in complete awe of your work. I can only hope that my peices end up looking even half as good as yours are.

If you topcoat the foam with some gesso paint, it won't eat the foam at all and will bond rather well to both the foam and the bondo, making it safe for thicker applications on the first coat.

Stellar work, by the way - very impressive detail in foam.
