I will post pictures when I return from the con, if anyone attending happens to get some photos of me feel free to post them in this thread. I will be walking around with a friend of mine dressed as Caboose. now its time to sleep I have a long weekend ahead.

You can buy a Galls regular gas mask pouch. They attach to your belt and thigh and are black in color. They even have the buckels just like in the game. Cost 39.99 and can be found at Galls.com product number 1K-TE210.

Just thought I'd post this for giggles:

Thanks for posting that, my friend really enjoyed dressing up as Caboose, I think it gave him a good reason to do silly things while wearing the armor. As for my costume, had some problems with the grenades, and one of the pieces for the left boot had fallen off and was not recovered, other than that it came out great I just have to reattach the grenades using a stronger adhesive, and make a new piece for the boot. Here are some of the professional photos that were taken, and the last one was one taken by a friend of mine when we were in the game room playing some halo.

Really nice pics! At one point I went in and played some halo as well. I even did some ddr at one point and my friend got a video of it. It's not very exciting just kinda silly. Glad your buddy enjoyed that armor, it was really well made. Do you make it Howaado?

Thanks, the caboose armor, was my old suit with the eod and hayabusa shoulders removed, and the hayabusa chest removed, and the helmet is a cast of Sigma's mk V, you can find more info in my hayabusa armor topic, just click on the link in my signature.

WTF DUDE
i love this
damn
im going to print it and hang on my wall so when i wake up i can see it every day **** i love it!

This thing was beyond awesome in person. I really liked how you set up the visor in the Emile helmet so you didn't have to vacuform it!

Thanks, I am glad with how the new helmet came out. Below are some photos of the updated helmet and costume, I might remake the chest piece to be a tad bit smaller to allow for more articulation. The areas of the visor that I could see out of are thin pieces of plastic with a gold/silver tint on them cut slightly larger than the openings and glued on top with hot glue. The helmet is slightly larger than the previous one, it was hardened using Smooth cast Onyx on the inside and only polyester resin on the outside, and sanded smooth since I don't really like using body filler. I made my own custom padding like i did in my Dutch ODST helmet that I got last year from Sean Bradley, it is 1 inch thick upholstery foam covered with a moisture wicking fabric, then velcroed into place. I will post pictures of the ODST costume when I get them from a friend of mine, since he was modeling the costume for me. As for upgrades to the suit I redid the grenade belts with elastic and attached them to the costume using binding posts, I remade about 6 of the 40mm grenades, with what little resin I had left before heading to Otakon, so that is why there is a difference between a few on the belt. I painted the arrows on all the needed pieces, added the abdomen piece to keep the chest piece from moving about, and got a reach pistol from smick and used that along with the knife. As in most of my previous posts click on the images to enlarge them.

this is quite possibly one of the sickest things I have seen. Your suit looks amazing, its like he didn't die at the end of the game and is now a model.
