For those who are curious, this is how much head room there is in an eclipse:

Special thanks to Matt Wilburn, former member of the 405, fort the photographs.

I love the accent paint/decal sir, got to do that for meGotcha. Guess i'll just have to rig me up a sweet thigh rig too, then. I'll do that after I'm totally done.
For now, enjoy my nearly completed helmet:

The visor is cut out and ready, just need to add padding before I insert it.
Special thanks to TurboCharizard for his stencils. I've been wondering how I was gonna get those little details done.
*wakes up* huh! What!?! Did someone say I'm great?
For my 1,000th post I'd like to mirror in a small way what TurboCharizard did on his. PHOTO DUMP! haha
I was hoping to have my MK V Reach undersuit completed by this post, but the cookie didn't crumble that way. Instead I tried a black flight suit. I'm not happy with it.
Anyway, I shoveled my walk:

And after I finished my chores I took my beloved xbox 360 to the doctor to be fixed.
First person in the mall turned out to be a huge Halo fan:

which was cool.
I couldn't find the stupid shop I was looking for, 'cuz I entered at the wrong end of the mall (which was kinda embarrassing, but no one saw my face so that's ok. ;P)

After some detective work I finally located the place:

These guys were pretty cool. I built up the good ol' 405th and told them to swing by. (Hi guys!)
After they miraculously fixed the 360 problem by basically doing nothing (witchcraft!), I departed with great thanks.
Then realized I hadn't done my PT today!

Phew! That was intense! Time to relax!

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh.......
So my photographer and I decided after we left the mall we should check out historic 25th street in Ogden. They film a TV show here sometimes, but I forget the name of the thing. Anyway, if you see an old western tv show with a Spartan in the background, that'd be me. Oops! Haha
Unfortunately, we're didn't get any pictures of that.
I'd like to conclude with a great thanks to everyone here on the 405th. It's been a great ride, and very wonderful to see that at least in one place on the internet people aren't always rude, but in fact very helpful.
Keep it real, everybody!
con season is still a ways out and you can show it off there!

Dude that is pure awesome!! I was so thinking about shoveling snow the same way today but mine isn't sealed yet. Dude I love this Reach build, awesome work! If you decide to go a different route with the under suit, check out amazon for 1 piece skin surf suits. I found one that's all black, thin but not see through at all. It was only $35, I should order another just for a backup. It's working great so far! Again, awesome work dude!!
Yeah I'm debating on trying to glue thin foam detail to my undersuit to capture all the small details. My only issue is washing it once all that is on there. Luckily for my build this is a guy on etsy that actually sells a halo 3 undersuit with all the detail printed... it's $400.. decisions decisions...Thanks, man! I like the idea of the undersuit, but I plan on making my own custom undersuit that basically is the same thing, but with the details of the reach undersuit. Oh! AND A FRIGGIN' POCKET! Gosh!
it's $400
Sounds like the decision has been made to me.
I thought Sean was saying 400 is out of his league and could crank out a detailed suit and armor that is perfectly accurate in every way for a third of that.Right? Who needs $400 when you can have a sick looking undersuit
Yeah exactly!!Right? Who needs $400 when you can have a sick looking undersuit
