Thanks. I'm working on positioning the 'lights' on the armor now. In reality, those 'lights' indicate shield status, and are in keeping with the armor's primary color - but I'm taking thoughts on what the color should be. I'm thinking purple, myself.

I wouldn't care even if it was traced, the recon looks good. Some of you may be surprised to learn, that a lot of the best landscape painters in the world, use photographs and projectors to paint from. Magic lanterns have been around for a very long time.

As for my tools: I use a Trust TR2100 graphics tablet. And for the last time: it's a DOODLE. 9/10ths of my art is higher-quality than a 20min sack of poop. If I wanted it to look more realistic, it would look the same as my Recon picture. As it happens, it was just something I threw together. So yes, quality is going to be compromised.

Yes, I used brushes. So? It's a doodle, it wasn't MEANT to be some Rembrandt. That picture looks like that because it was MEANT to. If you want a high-quality version, ask me and I'll do one if it makes you untwist your pants.

Hmmmmm.... now that argument is settled.

Traced, or oeverlayed, or lineart... whatever you want to call it... it takes some skill to take a photo quality pic to a hand drawn sketch. It still took time to recreate... so thats where the praise for Weyland's Recon Art lies....

I wouldn't claim it as free handed.... but you did a nice overlay for sure. Coloring is good too...

no its fine, i can do it also XD both artists, but i sketch for a job. even on photoshop, but then i use a wacombord.
i learned sketching on my own but studied further for it.

Why do you have to fight about this? Primal did a good job, even if it is traced he still has other pieces of work that should be acknowledged and loved by the public. There is no need to put him down like this....

Its been posted, discussed... the topic has been made mute now... move on to a new subject. Bashing Weyland for any reason now needs to cease. In an attempt to clean up the board, and make people realize its not their ultimate job to bust everyone's bubble.

Take a word of advice.... if you don't have anything nice to say... don't say anything at all.
