Got a couple of plans for the visor, working on seeing which works out best tbh

After ten-fiften minutes wrestling with the suit and cam-phone I had to share this one, just a tester to see how the fit / scale is. The thighs are pretty comfy except for a small rub on the knee but that's just cause they aren't fully held up in place currently

Thanks to you both! I thought I'd gotten it right this time but wanted to check! The chest will likely sit ever so slightly higher and the cod a teensy bit lower so the ab-plate sits in between

Learned a _lot_ from my first suit lol. Thanks very much! Right shoulder, right Shin and both boots to go for the initial build, then I'm focusing on getting that HD EVA helm sorted

I'm looking forward to see the EVA. The sculpting you did on it is great. I can appreciate the work it took to get there now that I've smoothed my MK VI.

heheh ty, it was an utter nightmare to smooth and I'd guess has more sanding done than the rest of the costume so far combined....

Having a bit of back and forth with my 3D modelling mate over how to actually do the visor, he's suggested a simpler and likely cheaper way that we initially dismissed as not do-able really. But we'll see!

Dude! That looks fantastic! the weathering is amazing. I like it because it doesn't look bright silver, more of a dirtied, slightly corroded alloy. That is just beast. Love it!

Sutekhian, The suit is looking amazing. Im surprised i have missed this entire thread till now. I just read the whole thing to this point. The detail and all are amazing, Keep up the good work. I have to start working harder to get my suit done now lol.

Got the chest strapped uptoday, tried to hid the buckles slightly to make them look more like a part of the suit

And the lads and I went out to try it on outside, see how it looks!

Well TYVM, i am having a blast making it. Gonna bondo this weekend and smooth.

BTW i dig how you did the buckles, it is a great idea. It goes well with the suit. Looks like the test fit worked out good too. keep up the good work
