This is a nifty test. I've seen people also use papier mache with limited success. But realistically if you are strapped for cash or availability on resins, EVA foam is a good option and can be safely shipped from online sources.

Sure it is. But I guess my location sucks, as I can only find dealers where their shipping cost is higher than the foam itself. And again: You'll need foam hardener, wich is not available as well -.-
