I'd say you have hit the "kind of a big deal" status when my brother in law who isn't even in to costuming asked me if I knew who you were... Your accomplishment has certainly made it's rounds. As always, I am impressed by your work, it's always top notch.
Man, Thor, you guys did an amazing job On facebook, a friend of mine posted an article about you on my wall, saying that "One day, you'll be doing this Nico!" Im glad to have members like you around to inspire amateurs like us :3
If any of you are in the SF Bay Area and would like to see a few of these outfits in action, I'm doing an exhibit at the Maker Faire in San Mateo on the 21st and 22nd of May.
Between now and then, I need to get back to the states, crank out a few more suits, and finish up my H3 Marine costumes. Stay tuned for more on that...
Dude, glad to have you back! I just read your blog about your mission to Japan and it makes me miss active duty Navy. I did 14 years combined, 9+ yrs. active and 4+ yrs. reserve as an aviation machinist mate (jet engine specialist). Looking forward to your H3 Marine debut!
