That said, I have Scissors, Ruler (only to use to draw straight lines with ULTRA fine sharpie ) NOT TO FOLD!!, Exo-knife to cut half way through the paper- super easy fold then and very clean looking,

If I read that right, it sounds like you are using your x-acto to pre-cut your folds, so that they are easier. That's a good idea with plastic, but not paper. Paper would make me nervous. Why not use a pen to trace the line? That's what a lot of people do here; I myself did it for some of the finer detail pieces on my build.

You do the same thing your doing now, (trace the fold line with the pen, pressing down on it enough to leave an indentation, thus making the folding easier and neater) but you don't use the knife so you don't have to worry about piercing the paper.

Just my thoughts; looks good otherwise.

Here is a picture of 2 pieces have been x-acto knifed.... I ONLY USED MY HANDS AFTER THIS Picture Below... (added some hot glue)

Are you worried that the resin is going to crack if/when the foam bends? I hope this turns out well for you. If not, check out Roxyroo's foam builds. Roxy uses thin craft foam to hide seams and lines, I will see if I can find the thread again...

Anyways, your parts are looking good so far! Keep at it!

Yea... I have been worried about that =\ but at this point I'm testing to see if Fiberglass will cover the seams... ( One layer didnt ) I may add another one... It makes it really shinny.. =D ... not sure if im happy yet, im going to continue to test with different things =\ I'll look at Roxy's forum :) Thx for the help!!

Okay.. I have decided ( I'm making a DOUBLE Visor )

*Trick is ---- This is a brand new way to make a double visor (PLUS ITS CHEAPER) but maybe not as good...

Below is the steps I took at making a double visor Effect happen...
**#1 - First I looked at Master Chiefs Visor-- I took the basic lay out and drew it on a scratch sheet of paper
#2 I got a cutting board to help draw straight lines better... and Simply Scetched it out ( I measured it with the visor in the helmet to get the length and Height of my own helmet... 10 Inches around .. by 3 1/2 inches tall...)
This is the draw out finished...
makingdoublevisor1.jpg

Next I simply cut out the inside part using Xact-o knife... So I GOT THIS
makingdoublevisor2.jpg

Next I simply bought a $1.50 clear thin plastic sheet from Hobby Lobby... and traced it onto it using a sharpie...
missupdoublevisor.jpg

THE PICTURE ABOVE--_I Tired using a BOX CUTTER... Sadly I slipped and made a huge cut.... REDO!!
doublevisorcutout.jpg

This picture above I drew a all new visor... (last Chance) I Cut it using the dremel (not box cutter)
Then I cut some of the corners with box cutter!! (VERY SLOWLY)
Then the test fit....
PLEASE COMMENT =D

The Clear Plastic looks scratched in these pictures... Whenever it is Flush or Right up against the Gold Visor--- IT looks amazing =P....Remember It was a test fit... haven't perfected it =P
