Thanks for the pics, but I already posted a link to them.

For the measuring, get someone to take a picture of you, scale it to the same size as the front view in the above post, draw some lines from the top and bottom of the pieces straight across the pic of you, that will give you a point to measure from.

Here's a crappy example. Oops, the lines didn't show up. Here it is again. This is not an accurate example. Keep that in mind.

woah... that measurement made me make another print out, this first suit will be my son's.... hehe

back to printing.... again....

Here are some pics of my build so far.. Its a little big it feels like, but according to that scaling pic JUICE put it, it about matches up so far. we'll see i guess. I started out cutting and gluing the paper onto the cardboard and then cut the cardboard, but i found it easier to just trace and cut and skip the gluing stage.

About 90% done on the front and 95% on the back. and about 85 on one shoulder so far.

(Sorry, don't have a camera so i had to use skype and my webcam. ingenuity at its finest!)

Here ya go -

Sorry you have to re-do le-yo-ra. At least your son will be happy.

Looks pretty close dubean. If you need more clearance in the openings, you could just trim it out. Kinda hard to tell with you holding it up. You get a better overview when the armor is supporting itself.

I'm putting the finishing touches on the forearm now.

i really wasnt holding it up, more pushing it in closer to my body. but barely even that.

I wont be able to unfold the forearm till late tonight (once its posted). I am at a friends house and didnt bring my laptop. Excited to see the model though!

Now I've got a smile on mine. :D That's awesome. It fits him great.

I should be done within about a half hour. I'm posting it up as the forearm and weapon together so you can see what it looks like, and I'm posting them seperated a little to make it easier to unfold.

Very awesome work man! Now I have to decide if I want to continue down the Mark III road or War Machine.

Just a quick glance though I notice there are a couple wonky edges when I opened the model in Pepakura. From what I can see, there are two on the top grate of the weapon and then one on the hand guard.

Again, excellent work man! You're really making this a hard choice for me.

I think it's just a glitch in pep. Those faces aren't in the model, but I'll double check anyway.

Nope, just a glitch. The faces didn't show in a quick unfold either.

Great work! Here's how mine has come out so far.

I've got the bottom done, but it's not attached yet. I'll post more pics as I finish and resin this.

Cheers!
