Juice,

I got about close to half way through unfolding and got to the grate part on the weapon which was already mentioned, but after trying to figure out what the heck its doing, its just too difficult to unfold, let alone cut out and build with paper properly. One of the bottom grate seems to be okay but the three gave me all sorts of weird angles and super skinny tabs and funky break lines. - Just no bueno for unfolding that's for sure.

This is the first time I tried to use boolean on a model. That's probably the problem. I'll go back and fix it when I get off work.

This is juice.

Cardboard is getting popular, I see. Looks good, but it also looks a tad big.

Ya the scale on that one is 2.515401 (width 20 inches/508 mm). I'm gonna re-do this at 18 1/2 inches (scale 2.331832) . The cardboard Im using is non-corrugated, basically really really thick card stock. The nice thing is I can score the back or front of the cardboard and peel some of the layers off therefore the joining edges have a lip that makes a nice sharp corner. The cardboard is probably a little thicker then 1/16 of an inch (building up some strong cutting hands).

I'm 5' 11" so the first one I did was WAY too small, now it seems that I have gone the other direction LOL.

[attachment=14990:DSC03766.JPG][attachment=14991:DSC03764.JPG]HEy guys..thanks for appreciating my foamies..actually its based on pepakura itself. since we are not used to make molds out of resins or puttys,we are using this rubber foam.but the accuracy is not that good unlike the ones your making..here's my latest pix..

Hello.

I, with friend's help, hesitate to buit War Machine or Iron Man Mark 2 armor and .pdo files are a little hard to understand.... It's very hard for me to use ".pdo files" : is it possible to have a tutorial with other format like .jpG/jpeg etc ???

I can give my e-mail in order to receive the Full Files for Iron Man & War Machine : please help me !!

Thank you by advance

@ dubbean33

actually, i would like to thank JUICE for sharing his pepakura file. iv'e been searching the net for days to find the exact replica to make this model since the movie is not yet out.finally i came to this thread. and i cannot wait until may 7..( ironman 2 will :D be in cinemas here at MAY 7)

@Django1979

im sorry but im just using pepakura PDO files as referrences and other pictures posted on this thread.that maybe could solve your problem though..

I would like to thank all of you guys for appreciating our work! I would like to here more from you. i will be posting my next pictures after several days maybe..

That does look pretty cool knivash. I can't wait for the movie either.

I've got the forearm fixed, but I can't upload it until my wife gets home with the laptop. For some reason, my desktop will not let me connect to 4shared. I could upload it to megaupload or something, but I like to keep all my stuff in one place.

hey dude,

you should probably have all 3 parts of the forearm separate so it will be easier to scale for everyone

they could measure the actual gauntlet from where their wrist begins and where their inner elbow begins

once they have that length they can enter that in the height perimeter then they can just match the scale for the gun and hand plate.

this will resolve some scaling problems with that part I think
