I'd like to make a correction to my last post about the "current scale".. I coulda swore i set all the unfolds to 1.9 but apparently there are quite a few that differ from that. sorry people!

I'll try on work on unfolds for pieces that need better scaling so you guys don't have to go through the trouble of rearranging your pieces when you scale up(or down).

Ironerd, i'd probably say 2.0 to 2.1 scale. i'd suggest starting with the back piece cuz its pretty simple and you can get a pretty good idea of scaling off of that. hope that helps you!

The pieces are all modeled from the same source so they are proportional to each other. whether they are proportional to your body is another thing though. but 2.0 to 2.1 should be a good start for most if not all the pieces.

Awesome! Thank you Dubean.. just the answer I wanted to here. Once I get scaling right on the back or something as you said I can use the same across teh whole suit because my body is proportioned normally. I am not super skinny, nor am I built like a brick sh*thouse. Thanks for your help.

I would love to start a thread but unfortunately when I go to start a new thread it says "You cannot start a new topic"

Any ideas as to why this is? Otherwise yes I would love to document the entire build.

I'm not actually sure, i haven't ever started a thread. I know there are people who start threads who've just joined up so it should be possible somehow. anyone know whats up?

For now, you have to post in the Noob section.

Could someone help me figure out the scale of the thigh and shin I'm 5'7". I pepped the chest and everything else at the 5'9" scale of 1.9 and I like the look of it but my thigh piece is just a tad too big. thanks

unfortunately there really is no exact science for this. Try like 1.7 or 1.6 scale and build one piece and see how that goes for you

Okay guys, i fixed all the unfolds and set a standard scale of 1.9 for ALL the pieces (for real this time! haha)

i uploaded all the files into one .rar with "upper body" and "lower body" files. You will still be able to download from the links posted in the first page, but i'd suggest that you download this pack and use these as a base and scale up or down from these ones. i modified some of the unfolds slightly to make them a little better, as some of them were not very good. Surprised people haven't complained yet haha ;)

Here's the link!

all files are in Letter format with 5mm margins rather than the standard 15mm. You can squeeze a bunch more pieces per page that way. always gotta save paper!!

PM me with any questions dudes and ..dudettes?(war machine chicks? interesting. hot?) hahah k ill stop being weird now.

Enjoy guys!

Uncle Bobby B. Baby. Lol. That movie was great. And thanks Dubean, and I think the unfolds were pretty easy. The most challanging of all of them is easily the arm weapons.

Just thought i'd share some War Machine progress from a fellow builder. Masterle247 or Anthonyle247 has finished his helmet/suit and it looks really good. I've seen all his suits and this is by far his best, and the helmet is emaculate. I know he's not the most popular guy around the forums but his work is pretty impressive. Take a look

Pretty sweet stuff. I would LOVE to have Iron Man and War machine wearable costume/statues in my house. How sick would that be? :)

i've just fiberglassed my biceps and abs, and some parts of the torso... no pix for now, kinda messy in my working place...

scale ... for mine i used 1.812115...my height is 5'5''

my son is 4'5" his scale is my previous 1.6... check the fits on previous pages ,i think it's page 11 and 15... there are some scale also done by superman extreme, check them out too.

Gotta love that dude and his spelling. It's more impressive than his armor.

The FINAL "STANGE" is here!

also some other dude completely redid that helmet for him, and he barely credited the poor guy a long the way.

Yay Le!
